ORPHAN VILLAGE AFRICA SOUTH SUDAN MISSION

Below, you’ll find a selection of photos and descriptions detailing our past mission trips. These took place in 2008 and 2011.

MISSION LANDROVER

As part of a 400-mile drive through some remote areas, this car was invaluable. It was kindly loaned to us by Emmanuel. God blessed us with an excellent driver, Daniel.

WATER PUMP FOR MADORO

Having purchased the pump in Kampala, we received the delivery in Juba on Monday. It is now in storage in Yambio, ahead of its installation in Madoro, where the community has no access to clean water.

MADORO COMMUNITY SCHOOL TEACHERS

The 6 teachers at Madoro Community School receive the books that will enable them to start a school library. The school has no building and virtually no equipment, but as the community returns to the area the school will be an important part of rebuilding.

ORPHANS OF MADORO

Justin, Jackson, Marta, Victoria, John, Moses, and Denis are 7 of the 105 orphans identified in the community of Madoro. They are currently all cared for by extended family – mainly grandparents.

ATHLETICO MADORO

The football team model their new kit – donated by supporters in the UK.

CHILDREN OF EZO

Taking a quick break from dancing to have their picture taken, the children of Ezo enjoy celebrating Easter.

Yambio

Here are some pictures of the orphans we currently support in Yambio. All of the children are currently attending school, and seem in good spirits. Of course, they were a little shy at first.
